Cultivating Prayer

Breaking down how Jesus prayed as well as how He instructed us to pray reveals a profound model for spiritual communication. Jesus' own practice of prayer, as depicted in the New Testament, often involved solitude, seeking God's will, and expressing deep gratitude and trust. For example, before major decisions of events like choosing His disciples or facing His crucifixion, Jesus would withdraw to pray alone, demonstrating a pattern of seeking divine guidance, and strength. His prayers were characterized by intimacy with God, often addressing Him as "Father or "Abba," which implies a personal and close relationship.

Chosen, Study of Ephesians

For he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in love before him (Ephesians 1:4).

As believers in Christ, our identity has been radically changed. We are adopted as sons and daughters into the family of God. What does it look like to live out our identity in Christ?

Gain a deeper understanding of the gospel and God’s unmerited favor towards His people. Put away worldly living and instead live by the Spirit. Learn the importance of striving for unity within the Church.

By Faith, Study of Galations

By Faith is a 6-week Bible study that takes an in-depth look at the book of Galatians. The book of Galatians shows us that faith in Jesus Christ is enough, and that no requirements can be added to the gospel. This study explores what it means to live a life of freedom by faith in Jesus Christ, and challenges us to live differently in response to what God has done in us. It explores what it means to walk by the Spirit.

Bible in a Year

Breakdown the bible in one year. Together we will study typology across the old and New Testament. For example - Noah's Ark is a type of salvation, prefiguring baptism or the salvation through Christ. Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt is a type of Christ leading humanity out of sin. The Passover lamb in the Old Testament is a type of Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God in the New Testament. Studying Typology brings a new understanding to prophecy throughout the bible's messages. We infuse this study with Hebrew and Greek roots connecting the passages and timelines.
